Refinement Optical 於 1977 年在香港創立，是 純正香港設計與製造的眼鏡品牌。它見證了香港眼鏡製造業的黃金年代（60-90 年代），彼時生產基地集中於觀塘、荃灣等工業區。

隨著時代變遷與產業轉型，香港生產成本上升，多數廠商於 2000 年代後將生產線遷至中國內地（如廣東、浙江），香港總部則專注於設計、品管與貿易。Refinement Optical 不跟循此模式，終於在2019 年品牌正式結束營運，為其歷史畫上句點。

Limited Edition Hong Kong Designed Glasses NOS "Refinement Optical" 

Recreating the classic style of the popular plastic frames from the 1980s!

Refinement Optical was founded in 1977 in Hong Kong and is a brand of glasses that embodies authentic Hong Kong design and manufacturing. It witnessed the golden age of Hong Kong's eyewear manufacturing industry (1960s-1990s), when production bases were concentrated in industrial areas like Kwun Tong and Tsuen Wan.

With the passage of time and industrial transformation, production costs in Hong Kong rose, leading most manufacturers to relocate their production lines to mainland China (such as Guangdong and Zhejiang) in the 2000s, while their Hong Kong headquarters focused on design, quality control, and trade. Refinement Optical did not follow this model, and the brand officially ceased operations in 2019, marking the end of its history.

This limited release of NOS (New Old Stock) styles represents a peak of design from the brand's glorious era and an opportunity to own a piece of its legacy!
